Ameena Ibrahim built Masari from the ground up, one guest, one home, and one relationship at a time.

Her story begins in Fresno, California, in neighborhoods where survival came first and dreams came second. Raised by a single Black mother, she was the first in her family to attend college. Her father, a Palestinian immigrant, brought another thread of heritage and resilience into her life. In sixth grade, her family moved to Santa Barbara, where a background in theater and the performing arts helped shape the confidence and presence she carries into every room today.

She started in short-term rentals at 19, and over the past six years she has grown that first listing into a full portfolio of properties, with operations in downtown San Diego and West Hollywood. She is also a licensed California real estate agent through eXp Realty.

Ameena's work is rooted in understanding people. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and is currently pursuing her master's in social work. She is a Registered Behavior Technician and a paraprofessional, working closely with children and families in the special needs community.

Outside of her business, Ameena organizes food drives, toy drives, and clothing drives, and reaches out to neighbors experiencing homelessness. She hosts events for families in the special needs community, having supported more than 100 families, and has mentored youth since she was 16. Her outreach extends internationally through her work with a children's home in Ghana, Africa.

Whether she is designing a stay, guiding a client home, or showing up for her community, Ameena leads with heart and purpose.
